Description: 

Mantua Reservoir is accessible from US 89 between Brigham City and Logan. It is on the Brigham City side of Sardine Summit at the top of Box Elder Canyon, east of Brigham City, is a perfect spot for Rainbow and Bear Lake cutthroat trout, Largemouth bass, bluegill, and yellow perch.

Facilities and Parks: 

There are no campgrounds near the reservoir. The closest services are in Mantua or Brigham City (4 miles west). There is a new boat ramp and plans for a new parking lot and restrooms.

Food: Groceries available in Mantua, restaurants in Brigham City.
Boat ramps: Southwest corner of Reservoir.

Fishing Description: 

Mantua is stocked with rainbow (39,500) and cutthroat (55,000) annually. Natural reproduction occurs with the warm water species of largemouth bass, bluegill, and yellow perch. The reservoir is highly eutrophic and weeds can be a problem later in the year. Game fish available: Rainbow and Bear Lake cutthroat trout, Largemouth bass, bluegill, and yellow perch.

Trolling, shore, kick boats, float tubes, ice; artificial flies and lures only.
Directions to Lake: 

About two miles long and the reservoir is very visable from the the highway. At the top of the canyon, turn off the highway into the community of Mantua
